3rd Blade is a webcomic that was published every Monday and Wednesday in 2009 by J Marc Schmidt. His goal was to create comics that were interesting and different in theme, topic and look every week. About half of the comics are stand-alone stories, others are multi-part serials.

From March 2009, he began adapting the 1993 Pete Townshend album Psychoderelict as a serial. Psychoderelict was posted on Mondays, while comics written by Schmidt were posted on Wednesdays.

Many of the comics contain mature themes and language.
