I would like to mention at this point that I, like Ray High, am a fan of Yes. I only have one album, though. It’s The Ladder, which came out quite late in the career of Yes. Yes fans, what is the best album for me to move onto now?

There is a reasonable chance that my fondness for both The Who and Yes was influenced by this sketch from 90s cartoon Animaniacs, which I think is great, but spoiled slightly by a poor ending. Also the voice actor playing Roger Daltrey (possibly Jess Harnell) sounds far roo much like Ringo Starr. The voice of Harnell’s Animaniacs character Wakko Warner is based on Ringo. Ringo’s son Zak now drums for The Who.

Oh, what fun to be so obsessed with such minutiae of popular culture.
